				Portreath has a very friendly atmosphere and nestles in a valley between high cliffs. With a fine sandy beach and historic harbour surrounded by National Trust countryside.
	Have fun on the sandy beach and explore the rock pools. Ideal for watersports and learning to surf. Stunning woodland and dramatic cliff walks. Near to golf courses, horse riding, fishing and cycle paths.

	The sandy beach is popular with families and like most beaches on the north Cornish coast, is popular with surfers and  bodyboarders. The beach is cleaned daily during the season and dogs are not allowed on it from Easter to 1st October each year.
