A grand Georgian house built in 1827 by Lord Basset, set in one acre of sub-tropical gardens. Only a few minutes stroll to the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. We have 2 car parks.
	Our games room is a great meeting place to make new friends, with a pool table and games machines.

				To the rear of the house is a magnificent old Cornish garden, the product of a century and a half of dedicated care and which, after a period of neglect, is being lovingly restored by the resident proprietors, who have owned Bassets Acre since the summer of 1978.
	Outdoors, we also have a swimming pool, table tennis, swings, playhouse, barbecues etc... Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

A stream, rising from a natural spring, runs through the garden. Beneath the trees is a patio with a barbecue and a fish pond. Fifty steps lead from here to a pergola, almost at the same height as the ancient pines, with panoramic views over the valley.
